You Meet in a Tavern
Welcome back, wanderers.
Here’s a glimpse at what’s been unfolding across the soundscapes and story realms of Other Worlds Than These since our last palaver — from long-awaited releases to quiet signals stirring beneath the surface.
As every good story begins, so too does this one — in a tavern filled with laughter, clinking glasses, and familiar faces gathered around the fire. From this day forth, our opening gathering shall be known as You Meet in a Tavern — a place for travelers to trade tales and tidings before the road calls us onward.
Paths Through the Realms
Tales Shared Along the Road
Before we venture too far down our own path, let’s pause by the fire for a moment — to share a few tales told by fellow travelers. This is where I like to highlight kindred spirits and creators whose work and wonder deserve a place in your own journeys.
First among them, a lively fellowship known as The Super RPG Friends — wanderers of wit and dice who gather to spin stories of adventure, laughter, and glorious mayhem. Among their ranks is my friend John W. Unterseher Jr., whose boundless energy and storytelling heart keep their tales alight.
And across another realm entirely, I’d like to raise a glass to Isaak Wells — a gifted voice actor, filmmaker, and storyteller whose creative spirit shines through every project he touches. You may have heard his voice echo through worlds of fantasy, animation, and beyond — but more than that, he’s a genuine soul who reminds us why we create in the first place.
So before we press on into our own adventures, take a moment to visit their corners of the multiverse — for every good tale grows brighter when shared.
Prove Life Wrong™
Every journey has its shadows — the moments that test our resolve, patience, and spirit. Prove Life Wrong™ was born from those moments. It’s more than a phrase; it’s a reminder that no matter how hard life pushes, we can push back harder. It’s about getting up one more time, taking one more step, and finding purpose in perseverance.
Through this movement, I hope to encourage others to do the same — to turn setbacks into stories of strength, and challenges into chapters worth sharing.
Here are the latest reflections from that ongoing journey:
Broken Ribs, Unbroken Spirit — You may have seen this one in the last Dispatch, but I’m including it here as well — a story of finding purpose (and humor) in pain, and refusing to let it stop the journey.
The Whisper that Holds You Back — The quiet voice of doubt, and how to silence it with action.
The Pain, The Push, and The People Who Keep You Going — A reminder that we’re never truly alone on the road to resilience.
And because even defiance can carry hope, I’ve turned this message into something tangible — the Prove Life Wrong Collection at the Other Worlds Than These shop. Every mug, shirt, and magnet is a small emblem of persistence — a daily reminder to keep going, no matter what.
Rise. Build. Thrive. And as always… Prove Life Wrong.
From the Studio
Behind every whisper and melody lies a spark — the steady rhythm of creation that keeps the realms alive. In the studio, the fires still burn bright as new sounds emerge, weaving stories through both silence and song. Here’s what’s been stirring in the aural realms lately:
Whispers of The Witch (The Haunting) released!
The whispers rose on Halloween night — October 31, 2025 — and they’ve yet to fade. Whispers of The Witch (The Haunting) has officially taken flight across the realms, and it’s been incredible to see how deeply it’s resonating with listeners.
Laiquen mori enthalëa
The song is haunting, delicate, and alive with the pulse of something ancient stirring once more. The feedback so far has been both humbling and inspiring, reminding me how music can connect us even in the quietest of shadows.

Remote Isolation (The Silence) Announced!
"When the Weave grows quiet, only echoes remain. Yet through the silence, a whisper crosses the firmament— ‘Vorun Sië Khirenath.’ Those who hear its call are bound by destiny, drawn to its source"
Morn-Ankh-Amun
The next signal has been sent into the void — Remote Isolation (The Silence) was officially announced today and will release on November 21, 2025.
This piece continues the journey that began with Whispers of The Witch (The Haunting), moving from the murmur of something unseen to the stillness of vast, empty distance. It explores solitude, reflection, and the strange beauty that can emerge when the noise fades and only the self remains.
If you’ve been following the unfolding story, you already know — this silence speaks volumes.

And speaking of the story behind the music…
Musings with Maestoso: The Table Read
After some time away from the mic, Musings with Maestoso has officially returned — beginning with “The Table Read.”
Most of the setup work is now complete, from all the necessary OBS scenes and overlays to the production templates that will carry the show forward. I’m now working on scheduling future guests, including other artists, for upcoming episodes. If you’re an artist and would like to appear on a future Musings with Maestoso, I’d love to hear from you — please reach out!
This first episode marks the relaunch of the series, blending humor, honesty, and a touch of behind-the-scenes chaos as I pull back the curtain on the creative process. It sets the stage for what’s to come — exploring how story, sound, and imagination intertwine across all the realms I create in.
You can watch it now on both my Music YouTube Channel and the Other Worlds Than These Channel — but make sure to subscribe to the Other Worlds Than These channel, as that’s where all future episodes will premiere:
For those who want to step even deeper behind the curtain, the extended version — complete with unseen moments and insights into how Whispers of The Witch and Remote Isolation connect to my next major project — is available exclusively for Patrons:

Reviews from the Aural Realms
Music doesn’t just fill the air — it paints it. Through Reviews from the Aural Realms, I wander through soundscapes both familiar and new, exploring the emotions and stories that dwell within each note. These reflections aren’t just critiques — they’re invitations to listen differently, to feel deeply, and to travel where the music leads.
Since our last gathering, I’ve journeyed through a few remarkable releases worth revisiting:
Rendering Time by Deborah Martin & Jill Haley
A breathtaking collaboration where stillness and movement coexist in perfect harmony. A work that captures the delicate art of patience through tone and texture.
All The Time by Rosewood Boulevard
A heartfelt, cinematic reflection wrapped in warmth and nostalgia, resonating with the quiet power of connection and time.
Sacred Places by Hollan Holmes
A sonic pilgrimage through vast and spiritual landscapes, where sound becomes sanctuary and every note feels like an act of reverence.

FLOW (Remastered) by Jon Jenkins
A rediscovered masterpiece reborn with new depth and clarity — a river of sound that continues to shape the ambient genre even years after its first release.
Them by King Diamond
A chilling descent into one of metal’s most haunting narratives — theatrical, relentless, and brilliantly twisted in all the best ways.
Another voice will rise from the Aural Realms before long — perhaps it’s already calling.

From the Table
Not all stories are written — some are rolled. Around the table, laughter, chaos, and fate intertwine as dice carve out legends one critical success (or failure) at a time. This is where the realms come alive through shared imagination — where heroes rise, secrets are uncovered, and no plan survives first contact with the players.
Runes of Ruin: Secrets of the Forgotten Vault — Session Reminder
The next expedition sets out tomorrow, Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 12:00 PM CT. There are still plenty of seats left, so whether you’re a new traveler or a seasoned hero, there’s room for you at the table.

Bring your curiosity, your courage, and a healthy respect for doors that probably shouldn’t be opened.
But wait... there's more!
And for those who caught the Musings with Maestoso: The Table Read episode — yes, the whispers are true. Work has already begun on returning to the Thornwood’s Shadow, ALIEN RPG, and Dune RPG storylines. The dice are stirring, and those worlds are waiting for their next breath.
Coming Up
The road ahead grows brighter with every step — and the momentum continues to build. Whispers of The Witch (The Haunting) has found its voice, and with Remote Isolation (The Silence) soon to follow, the threads of a much larger story are beginning to take shape.
The studio hums with energy again, Musings with Maestoso has returned to the airwaves, and the tables are alive with rolling dice and new tales waiting to be told. Between music, myth, and the stories that bridge them, the next few weeks promise to be full of motion and magic.
Thank you, as always, for walking this path with me — your support, your messages, and your presence continue to be the spark that keeps these worlds alive.
Until the next door opens
The wheel keeps turning.
Thank you again for being part of Other Worlds Than These — whether you come for the sound, the story, or the strange in-between places where both meet. Your presence, messages, and encouragement continue to breathe life into everything I create.
If you’d like to help keep these realms growing, there are many ways to lend a hand — from joining the Patreon to sharing posts, streaming the music, or exploring the full list of support options here:
